Our regular auctions of antiques and art are listed on our website and advertised nationally and throughout the world. They attract widespread interest from local and international dealers, specialist collectors and antiques enthusiasts. Our fortnightly sales of Victorian and later furnishings provide a prompt and efficient service to executors and trustees disposing of whole or part households.

Valuation Services

We prepare inventories and valuations for probate, insurance, family division and other purposes. These can be backed up by photographic records where necessary. We offer free verbal valuations and advice for auction purposes at our salerooms either by appointment or during business hours, Monday – Friday, 8.30 am to 5.00 pm.

For larger consignments or items of furniture, we will arrange a mutually convenient appointment to visit a client’s home. Our probate department offers a comprehensive valuation and sales service to assist in all aspects of processing an estate from the initial valuation to the disposal of items at auction and despatch of bequeathed chattels to beneficiaries.
