Continuing its trajectory of national and international growth, Freeman’s has appointed Kate Della Monica as a regional representative in Florida, effective immediately.

We’re delighted to appoint Kate Della Monica as the company’s first regional representative in Florida; her presence will be indispensable to online casinos with payid clients throughout the state and region.”
Kate is available to clients seeking valuations and paths to consignment across Freeman’s many areas of specialisation, spanning centuries and mediums. She is particularly attuned to consignments of jewellery, timepieces, and design objects.
Kate will leverage her expansive experience as a Specialist in Freeman’s Jewellery and Watches department to serve collectors of 20th century and contemporary design, gemstones and diamonds, and designer watches and handbags, from single items to entire estates. She will be regularly joined by specialists from across Freeman’s departments to craft personalised consignment solutions on behalf of clients.
Freeman’s roster of regional representatives has grown over the past several years to include the New England, Washington, D.C., Midwest, Southeast, and now Florida regions. Rooted in Freeman’s dedication to bespoke client services, the regional representative program ensures attentive, specialised appraisal and consignment services across collecting categories.

ABOUT KATE DELLA MONICA
Kate Della Monica is a Senior Specialist in the Jewelry and Watches department, and serves as Freeman’s first Regional Representative in Florida. Kate joined Freeman’s in January 2018 as a Department Administrator. While at Freeman’s, Kate has honed many skills to support her both in the field acquiring property for consignment and behind the scenes in the laboratory and office. She has completed the Graduate Gemologist program at the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), and is USPAP compliant. Kate’s commitment to continuing her education and experience as a specialist and appraiser drives her excitement for the auction business.
Before joining Freeman’s, Kate worked as an assistant director of a Philadelphia art dealing business, where she experienced the auction world through a consignor’s perspective. She attended school in Philadelphia, receiving a BFA in 3-D Fine Art from Moore College of Art & Design. In addition to her work in the visual arts, Kate is a musician who has traveled the country playing original music. As she settles in Florida, Kate is excited to explore more creative outlets in a new environment while expanding the Freeman’s brand.
